Classic Stone is a Timaru based, stone veneer manufacturing business. We started over twenty years ago developing artificial rock features and waterfalls. It was the further development of this technology that soon enabled us to create the first stone veneer profiles. Our whole focus has been to create stone that replicates the shape and colour combinations of natural New Zealand stone.
Innovation and creativity are qualities that describe the team at Classic Stone. Our team consists of people from the concrete, building, landscaping and sales industries, all of whom combine to produce high quality, innovative products.

Gary Keen
Research and Development
My primary role in the business is to develop new stone profiles, technology and colouring systems. I love the creative challenge to take our stone to places never achieved before. This is one of those jobs that takes three steps forward and two back. But when it all comes together there is a great personal satisfaction in achieving cutting edge technology.
Steve Little
Sales and Marketing
My background in sales, marketing and administration means that I handle most of the inquiries that come into the business and make sure the right information goes out. In addition to the internal running of Classic Stone, I also look after our installers across New Zealand. I also provide technical support to not only our installers but builders and architects
Nicole Keen
Office and Finance Manager
I have been working at Classic Stone since its inception in our back yard in 2000, while raising our six children. I have been treasurer for a School PTA and a Cadet Unit. I also handled all the financial aspects of our previous landscaping business for 12 years.
My role includes managing the orders for Classic Stone from receipt of the order through to invoicing and shipping. I order in materials, and handle general office duties and finance administration.
Rachel Little
Sales and Marketing Support
My background is: parents owned a local business, travel agency sales and management, administration, and home educating our three now grown children. I have also completed a NZIM Supervision Certificate. All these experiences give me a good general all round take on management.
My roles include connecting new enquiries for Classic Stone to the right people, assisting Steve with Sales and Marketing, and the making up of the Classic Stone samples.
